Stephen Velovski

Stephen Velovski is the Director and Principal Physiotherapist at Redfern Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine.

Stephen has been working with the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL and NYC squads since 2009. Prior to this, Stephen worked as a physiotherapist for the St George and Sydney Olympic Soccer teams in the NSW Premier League Competition.

Stephen first studied in a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and then went on to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2007.

He has continued his professional development over the years completing the pelvic and thoracic courses taught by the internationally recognised LJ Lee (www.ljlee.ca), his Level 2 Sports Physiotherapy certificate as well as various dry needling courses.

He has a keen interest in the treatment of shoulder and hip/groin pain and specialises in screening and return to sports programs. His goal is to provide the same level of care that a professional athlete receives to the general population and people of all ages.

Stephen was a competitive soccer player for more than 20 years and has since taken up cycling where you can usually find him around the streets of Sydney’s inner city and Eastern Suburbs.
