Jake Barley
Jake graduated from the University of Brighton, UK, in 2019 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Following university, he completed all core physiotherapy rotations - including orthopaedics, neurology, and cardiorespiratory - before specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy.
Jake most recently worked as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist in a leading MSK department within the NHS (UK), where he collaborated with national spinal practitioners and developed valuable skills and clinical insight. During this role, he conducted a research audit on serious spinal pathologies and presented his findings at a national conference in the UK. Jake also practiced in a private sports clinic, treating a range of athletic and recreational injuries.
Jake has a special interest in shoulder dysfunction, spinal pain, and complex lower limb injuries, including post-surgical and traumatic cases. His passion for rehabilitation deepened since sustaining a complex lower limb fracture while playing rugby, giving him first-hand understanding of the challenges patients face. This experience has given Jake a deeper appreciation for patient care and motivates him to help others achieve exceptional recovery. Jake uses a multifactorial, evidence-based approach to treatment and is passionate about delivering elite care that empowers his clients to reach and exceed their goals.
Outside the clinic, Jake has recently relocated to Sydney to pursue career opportunities. He has a strong passion for rugby and enjoys staying active through gym training, running, and exploring Sydney and beyond during his time
