Eddie Farah
Eddie Farah is a Director and Consultant Physiotherapist at Redfern Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine, which he co-founded alongside Steve Velovski in 2016. Since graduating in 2000, Eddie has built a distinguished career working at the highest levels of sport and rehabilitation. His experience includes roles with Australian Rugby Union, the NSW Waratahs, and both the NSW and Australian Touch Football teams.
Eddie served as Head Physiotherapist for the South Sydney Rabbitohs for over 20 years, notably leading the Souths to victory in their 2014 NRL Grand Final alongside Steve Velovski. He retired from the Rabbitohs in 2023 but remains a highly respected figure within the NRL community. In 2024 and 2025, Eddie was appointed Head Physiotherapist for the NSW Blues State of Origin team, further cementing his status as one of Australia’s leading sports physiotherapists.
Beyond elite sport, Eddie founded In Touch Physiotherapy in 2011, which provides nationally recognised onsite injury prevention and management services across various industries, including major clients such as Qantas.
Eddie is passionate about exercise rehabilitation and the long-term management of complex injuries. At Redfern Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine, he plays a pivotal role mentoring staff, delivering weekly in-services, leading clinical case discussions, and running workshops for the broader community. His commitment to education and professional development ensures the clinic remains at the forefront of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.
