As a Physiotherapist and sports rehabilitation specialist, I have worked primarily in musculoskeletal private practice whilst also providing treatment and match day services for premier division football and rugby union teams. Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, I was an elite level Sports Scientist and Strength Coach with a number of professional teams in the A-League and Super Rugby along with amateur athletes and semi-professional teams in the United Kingdom, Middle East and Australia.
I have extensive experience treating clients in a number of sports including rugby union, football, triathlon, power-lifting, running and fitness. As part of my desire to provide better service to my clients, I utilise a number of treatment methods including mobilisation, massage, muscle energy techniques, dry needling, gym-based exercise rehabilitation and thorough biomechanical analysis/retraining. My areas of special interest include the shoulder, knee and late stage rehabilitation along with having a passion for providing elite level care to amateur athletes and social sports participants.
When I’m not dragging myself around the pitch playing rugby or football I like four-wheel driving in my Hilux (aka the “Red Rocket”), mountain biking, hitting the gym or enjoying a big cooked breakfast, because that’s what weekends are for.
